The electric vehicle charging network in Andhra Pradesh remains patchy despite the boom in EVs, according to The Hindu.
Raju Vegesna, a 34-year-old, reported feeling panic while travelling with his family to Tirupati in a new e-car.
Vegesna stated that his family was terrified to turn on the air conditioning because they feared the vehicle's battery would run out before they reached their destination.
He noted that he had been reluctant to take the road trip and only agreed after a Google search suggested there were nearly a dozen EV charging stations on the route.
