Janhvi Kapoor recreates mother Sridevi's Nagina look for Halloween
The actor dressed as the iconic ichchadhari naagin character to pay tribute to her late mother.
Actor Janhvi Kapoor recreated the iconic Nagina look of her late mother, Sridevi, for Halloween, according to reports by Hindustan Times and ANI.
To match the 1986 film's character, Kapoor wore a pink and ivory ensemble designed by Nidhi Halani, along with vintage jewellery, a maang-tika, and a bindi.
The actor also recreated the film's original promotional poster and specific scenes from the fantasy thriller.
Kapoor enlisted help from social media personality Orry and photographer Vaishnav Praveen to recreate the roles originally played by Rishi Kapoor and Amrish Puri.
In an Instagram post, Kapoor described the recreation as a tribute to one of the most iconic movie moments ever.
Sridevi played the role of an ichchadhari naagin in the 1986 film, which was directed and produced by Harmesh Malhotra and became the second highest grosser of that year.
