P. Shravan Kumar takes charge as Kalaburagi civic body commissioner
The 2023 batch IAS officer assumed the role on Saturday after the outgoing commissioner was transferred.
P. Shravan Kumar took charge as the new Commissioner of the Kalaburagi City Corporation on Saturday, according to The Hindu.
The outgoing Commissioner, Avinash Shinde, handed over the charge to Mr. Kumar at the corporation office. Shinde has been transferred as the Deputy Secretary of the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board.
The handover took place in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Pramila M.K. and Zonal Commissioner Prahlad Kulkarni.
Mr. Kumar is an IAS officer from the 2023 batch. He previously served as the Assistant Commissioner in Karwar and completed his probationary service in the Dakshina Kannada district.
The new commissioner hails from Kallur in the Sirwar taluk of Raichur district.
