The Mysuru City Corporation will hold another special drive on November 5, 6 and 7 for eligible property owners.
The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) issued e-khata certificates to 590 eligible applicants on Saturday, marking the end of its three-day Prajaseva e-Aasthi special campaign, according to The Hindu.
Out of 730 applications received on October 28, 590 were found eligible after the submission of necessary documents. The MCC limits cover more than 2.10 lakh properties, and over 78,700 property owners have received e-khata certificates so far.
Minister in-charge of Mysuru district Yathindra Siddharamaiah symbolically distributed the certificates at a programme organised by the MCC. He directed officials to expedite the issuance of certificates to the remaining eligible property owners.
Siddaramaiah urged property owners to submit applications with required documents and directed officials to prioritise the verification of applications in accordance with the rules.
The MCC will conduct another drive on November 5, 6 and 7. A press release from the MCC stated that those who could not participate this month or failed to submit essential documents can use this opportunity.
