CM D K Shivakumar says he will not misuse power
The Chief Minister responded to allegations regarding a recent sting operation while inaugurating development works in Mandya on Saturday.
Chief Minister D K Shivakumar stated that he would never use the mandate given by the people for any wrongdoing or malicious purpose. He made these remarks in Mandya on Saturday while addressing allegations raised by opponents regarding a recent sting operation, according to the Deccan Herald.
Shivakumar spoke after laying the foundation stone and inaugurating various development works worth Rs 1,793 crore at the Mandya University premises. He said he would leave envy and hatred to others.
The Chief Minister remarked that as long as opponents stay that way, it works to the advantage of the government. He said they have inadvertently guided his MLAs to walk on the right path and stated that he wishes them well.
