Harish Dwivedi to focus on party organisation during first Karnataka visit

BJP National General Secretary Harish Dwivedi will undertake a three-day visit to the state starting on Monday.

BJP National General Secretary and State in-charge Harish Dwivedi is set to begin a three-day visit to Karnataka on Monday. According to The Hindu, this marks his first visit to the state after taking over his new responsibility.

Dwivedi, who previously managed the party's organisation in Assam, is expected to focus on strengthening the party organisation. He is likely to prioritise preparing the organisation for upcoming local body elections in the state.

The leader will hold a meeting with party state office-bearers on Monday. This meeting is expected to review political developments, the party's performance in the Council polls, and issues regarding the state government's administration.

Dwivedi is also a central coordinator for the ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ campaign. He is expected to review preparations for this campaign in Karnataka, which is seen as a counter-initiative to the Congress campaign against the SIR.

The visit will include a padayatra in Kolar on Tuesday and in Chitradurga on Wednesday. Dwivedi will participate in these activities before concluding his maiden tour of the state.
