H.D. Kumaraswamy accuses Bengaluru Police Commissioner of leaking sensitive information
The Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel alleged the Congress government is attempting to take revenge on him.
Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy accused the Bengaluru Police Commissioner of leaking sensitive information regarding an investigation into a sting operation, according to The Hindu reported on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Kumaraswamy claimed the Commissioner was behaving like a head clerk by issuing a statement. He questioned at whose behest the Commissioner was working and suggested the official was acting to protect his post.
The Union Minister further alleged that the Congress government is attempting to take revenge on him. He stated that he knows whom the government is trying to protect.
Kumaraswamy said he knows the direction of the investigation into the sting operation. He added that he will provide more details and information regarding what is happening within the Police Department on Monday.
