Sting video controversy is just a trailer, says Priyank Kharge
Home Minister Priyank Kharge claimed technical evidence links associates of Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy to a mobile phone used in the video circulation.
Home Minister Priyank Kharge said on Sunday that the developments in the alleged sting video controversy involving former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah are only a "trailer."
Speaking at a media conference in Kalaburagi, Kharge stated that the investigation is ongoing and the complete picture has not yet emerged.
Kharge claimed that investigators have uncovered technical evidence connecting individuals linked to Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries H.D. Kumaraswamy to the acquisition and use of a mobile phone used to circulate the purported video.
The Home Minister alleged that the Union Minister is using such activities to malign senior leaders, including Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.
Kharge criticised Kumaraswamy for shifting blame for the operation onto others, including Shivakumar and Mallikarjun Kharge.
The Home Minister added that those calling for investigations should cooperate with officers and stated that no one is above the law or the Constitution.
