A two-day festival for children and families will take place at Sati Radhika Shanti Udyan on the Uzan Bazar riverfront on November 14 and 15, according to The Assam Tribune.
Organised by City Mela, the Little Guwahati Festival will run from noon to 8 pm on both days. Visitors can enter using regular park tickets, while families may secure a free pass by signing up at the City Mela website.
The event includes AI and robotics workshops by STEM India, art workshops, and free health check-ups for children provided by Rainbow Pratiksha Hospital. XPO Music will also offer children the chance to try musical instruments at no cost.
Prag News will present the Coolest School Championship, involving up to 20 schools in competitions such as quiz, group dance, and science and robotics. These will be divided into junior and senior categories, with schools able to register for three events for free by November 3.
The festival will also feature a food street, a marketplace with books and toys, and a crawl race for toddlers. City Mela creator Biswadeep Gautam said the initiative aims to give children a platform to play, learn, and perform while uniting families and schools.
