Mohun Bagan Super Giant announced on Sunday that it will provide two free general tickets to each supporter for its upcoming match against Odisha FC. According to Sportstar, the club is offering this as a special gift to celebrate Diwali.
The match between the two Indian Super League sides is scheduled for November 5 at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. This fixture serves as the final game for both teams before the international break.
Mohun Bagan Chairman Sanjiv Goenka said in a statement that Diwali is a time to spread happiness and share joy. He added that the club wishes to bring that joy closer to supporters during the festive season.
In the current league standings, Mohun Bagan tops the table with nine points from four games. Odisha FC is in 10th place with two points, having played one less game than the leaders.
