Farooq Abdullah asserts Jammu and Kashmir is part of India at rally

National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti addressed an INDIA bloc rally in Delhi on Sunday.

National Conference president Farooq Abdullah asserted on Sunday that Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and will remain a part of India. Addressing an INDIA bloc rally against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, Abdullah stated that everyone is equal and has the right to vote under the Constitution.

According to reports from ANI and Daily Excelsior, Abdullah criticised the BJP and RSS for attempting to portray Muslims as outsiders and questioning their patriotism. He said that the BJP and RSS point fingers at Muslims and call them Pakistanis, adding that they have given their blood for India in the past, today, and will in the future.

Abdullah described the document as Ambedkar's Constitution and declared that people will not be able to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India.

People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti also addressed the rally, focusing on democratic participation and constitutional rights. Mufti alleged that attempts are being made to take away the rights of citizens to vote and change governments.

Mufti said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir experienced significant political and constitutional changes in 2019, claiming that the Constitution was destroyed there. She urged citizens across the country to remain vigilant to protect their democratic rights.
