KTR calls for AI adoption across all Telangana departments

BRS working president KT Rama Rao urged the expansion of technology ventures beyond Hyderabad into rural areas during an event in Nanakramguda.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao called for the wider adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various sectors on Monday. Speaking at the launch of CampusHub AI in Nanakramguda, Rama Rao said the world is entering an AI-driven era and Telangana must keep pace with changing technology, according to Telangana Today.

The former Minister stated that AI is a messenger for humanity and should be used wherever necessary, though he cautioned for responsible use. He noted that technology is becoming crucial to the education system and that the coming years will belong to AI.

Rama Rao emphasised that governments should promote AI adoption and expand technology opportunities beyond Hyderabad. He suggested that technology ventures could be established in rural areas rather than Hyderabad remaining the sole destination for IT companies.

The leader recalled that the previous BRS government gave importance to the IT sector and introduced AI-based interventions in agriculture. He mentioned an initiative launched in 2020 called Artificial Intelligence for Agriculture Innovation in a village in Rajanna Sircilla district to assist farmers.

Rama Rao urged young people to become job creators rather than just job seekers. He said that if the BRS returns to power in two years, the next government will integrate AI into all government departments and spread the IT industry throughout Telangana.
