The company recorded a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 353 crore for the first quarter of financial year 2026-27.
Oyo parent PRISM saw its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) rise by 17 per cent to Rs 353 crore in the first quarter of financial year 2026-27, according to audited financials reported by The Economic Times.
The quarterly profit, which was Rs 301 crore in the same period last year, included a deferred tax credit of about Rs 244 crore. During the same period, consolidated revenue from operations climbed 35 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,814 crore, up from Rs 2,078 crore in the previous year.
The company's Gross Booking Value (GBV) reached approximately Rs 9,600 crore, marking a 30 per cent increase from the Rs 7,408 crore recorded in the first quarter of financial year 2025-26. EBITDA grew 24 per cent to Rs 760 crore, while adjusted EBITDA, net of lease expenses, rose 35 per cent to Rs 589 crore.
Founder Ritesh Agarwal told shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in early October that performance in hotels and vacation homes showed better gross margins and higher operating earnings. He attributed the results to previous investments in technology, brands, distribution, and a global operating model.
Agarwal noted that the company is now embedding artificial intelligence (AI) into processes to improve efficiency and decision-making. He also mentioned Grace AI, an AI general manager that supports operations in several hotels in Western markets.
The founder highlighted that North America remains a key market following the acquisition of G6 Hospitality, which contributed about Rs 14,000 crore in Gross Booking Value during financial year 2025-26.
