Varanasi to host three-day mega job fair from November 3
The Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission will organise the event to connect youth with various private sector employment opportunities.
The Uttar Pradesh government will organise a three-day mega job fair in Varanasi from November 3 to 5, according to ANI. Held under the Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission, the event aims to connect youth with employment opportunities ahead of Diwali.
Assistant Director (Employment) Mukesh Kumar stated that the fairs will take place at three locations. The event will be held at Jagatpur Inter College on November 3, Credence International School in Umarha Bazaar on November 4, and Queens Intermediate College in Lahurabir on November 5.
Around 40 companies are expected to participate each day. Participating organisations include Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Swiggy, Flipkart, Dixon Company, Madrasan Company, Vikas Group, Sata Vikas Private Limited, Vardhman Fabrics, Tokal Kogal Private Limited, Deliveroo, Kelvin Pipes, Rezon Solar Limited, and Krishna Maruti.
Candidates with high school, intermediate, graduate, postgraduate, diploma, and ITI degrees can participate. Monthly salaries are expected to range from ₹12,000 to ₹35,000, with some positions offering annual packages exceeding ₹4 lakh.
Employment Fair in-charge Deep Singh said interested candidates should arrive at the designated venues at 10 a.m. with their resumes. Companies will select candidates based on their skills, educational qualifications, and position requirements.
