Bihar Board releases sent-up exam schedule for 2027 students
The Bihar School Examination Board has announced the dates for Matric and Intermediate sent-up examinations scheduled for late 2026.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the sent-up examination schedule for students appearing in the 2027 Matric and Intermediate annual exams, according to The Indian Express. The Intermediate examinations will run from November 19 to November 28, 2026, while the Matric exams are set for November 23 to November 27, 2026.
The board will conduct both sets of exams in two shifts. The first shift is scheduled from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, and the second shift will run from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Students will receive an additional 15 minutes at the start of each shift to read the question papers.
Practical examinations for Intermediate students will be held between November 30 and December 2, 2026. For Matric students, the practical exams are scheduled for November 28.
Students who are absent or fail these sent-up exams will not be issued admit cards for the 2027 annual examinations. The board also stated that students in the compartment or improvement categories are not required to participate in these sent-up tests.
The BSEB has permitted students with disabilities, such as those who are visually impaired or unable to write, to use a scribe. These candidates will receive 20 minutes of compensatory time for every hour of the examination period.
