Motilal Oswal identifies 10 stocks with potential upside of up to 40 per cent
The brokerage expects Nifty earnings per share to rise 16 per cent in FY27 despite recent market caution.
Motilal Oswal has identified 10 stocks with potential growth, including SPR Auto Components, which has a projected upside of 40 per cent, according to the Economic Times.
The brokerage noted that Samvat 2083 began on a cautious note as an external energy shock weighed on market sentiment. The West Asia conflict has kept Brent crude prices above $100 per barrel, which pushed CPI inflation to 5.54 per cent in September and led to a 25 basis points repo rate hike to 5.50 per cent.
Despite this, Motilal Oswal expects a return to double-digit earnings growth in FY27. The firm projects Nifty earnings per share (EPS) will rise 16 per cent in FY27 and 14 per cent in FY28, compared to 5 per cent growth in FY26.
Among the bullish picks, SPR Auto Components has a target price of Rs 6,150 against a current price of Rs 4,404. Shaily Engineering has a target price of Rs 4,074 against Rs 3,010, while Eternal has a target of Rs 420 against Rs 321.
