UP Board opens correction window for 2027 Class 10 and 12 students

Students can rectify errors in names, subjects, and photographs through their school principals until November 12, 2026.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has opened a correction facility for students registered for the 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations, according to reports by Prabhat Khabar and Telegraph India.

The online portal allows for the rectification of errors in student names, parents' names, subjects, class details, gender, caste, and examination medium. Students can also update their photographs and correct High School roll numbers that were entered during Class 11 registration.

School principals must carry out these amendments by logging into the official UPMSP website at upmsp.edu.in. The deadline for completing these online updates is midnight on November 12, 2026.

For certain specific changes that cannot be completed online, a separate offline procedure has been established. These include requests for changes to dates of birth, complete names of students or parents, and the deletion or restoration of student records.

Principals must submit these offline applications, along with necessary supporting documents, to the office of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS). The deadline for submitting these offline requests is November 16, 2026.

The board stated that no additional opportunities to modify records will be provided after these prescribed dates have passed.
