SBI to announce July-September quarterly results on Tuesday

The State Bank of India is expected to report growth in net interest income and stable margins for the second quarter.

State Bank of India (SBI) is scheduled to announce its July-September quarterly results for the 2026-27 financial year on Tuesday, 3 November, according to Mint.

The bank is projected to see a 13 per cent year-on-year rise in net interest income (NII), supported by an 18 per cent increase in loans, according to Kotak Institutional Equities.

The brokerage expects operating profit to grow by approximately 5 per cent year-on-year, noting that the previous year's base included gains from the sale of a stake in Yes Bank.

Axis Direct anticipates that advances will grow between 17 per cent and 18 per cent year-on-year, while deposit growth may be aided by FCNR(B) mobilisation.

Regarding asset quality, Kotak Institutional Equities expects slippages to be around 1.1 per cent of loans, though it does not foresee new concerns across portfolios.

Seema Srivastava, Senior Research Analyst at SMC Global Securities, suggested a Hold rating, noting that while credit growth is robust, near-term pressure on net interest margins (NIMs) justifies caution.

Mahesh M Ojha, VP Research & Business Development at Kantilal Chhaganlal Securities, stated the stock shows positive momentum with upside targets of ₹1,005, ₹1,020, and ₹1,035+.
