Team BHIVE wins Corporate Relay at IRONMAN 70.3 Goa
The winning relay team completed the endurance event in 6 hours, 25 minutes and 36 seconds.
BHIVE Workspace's Team 04 secured first place in the Corporate Relay category at the sixth edition of IRONMAN 70.3 Goa, according to ANI. The event took place at Miramar Beach, Panaji, on November 1.
The winning relay team included BHIVE member Mourya Manohar and employees Rithick S and Madhu Kumar N. The group finished the race with a time of 6 hours, 25 minutes and 36 seconds.
A total of 23 employees and members participated in the event, representing seven relay teams and two individual athletes. Eighteen of these participants were taking part in an IRONMAN event for the first time, while five had participated last year.
BHIVE Workspace, a coworking and managed office space provider, supported the participants through a five-month training programme that began in June. The company sponsored registration fees and covered travel, meals, and accommodation in Goa.
BHIVE Workspace Founder and CEO Shesh Rao Paplikar said the company believes a workspace should help people stay active and build connections. He noted that the number of participants was more than three times higher than last year.
The endurance race consisted of a 1.9-kilometre swim, a 90-kilometre cycling stage, and a 21.1-kilometre run.
