AINU expands to Odisha with ₹100 crore Bhubaneswar hospital investment
Asia Healthcare Holdings plans to grow the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology network to 10 facilities by the end of FY27.
The Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) has launched a new hospital in Bhubaneswar, marking its entry into Odisha, according to a report by Urban Acres. The expansion is supported by a ₹100 crore commitment from Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH).
This new facility is the eighth hospital for the AINU chain in India. The latest investment brings the total cumulative investment by AHH into AINU to ₹750 crore.
The Bhubaneswar hospital offers specialised care for kidney and urinary system conditions. Services include dialysis, kidney transplants, uro-oncology, paediatric urology, andrology, and reconstructive urology. The infrastructure features a 12-station haemodialysis unit, three operation theatres, 3D laparoscopy, and an in-house 32-slice CT scanner.
AHH Executive Director Vishal Bali said the group has added 300 beds, improved robotic technology, and strengthened clinical talent since acquiring AINU. He stated the group is on track to reach a network of 10 hospitals by the end of FY27.
The Bhubaneswar investment is part of a strategy by AHH to increase its presence in eastern India. The company intends to focus on increasing capacity and adding robotic surgery capabilities across its network.
