The cultural festival at Ekta Nagar showcases India's diverse traditions, handicrafts, and regional cuisines until 15 November.

More than 25,000 visitors attended the Bharat Parv 2026 festival at Ekta Nagar, near the Statue of Unity, between 1 and 3 November, according to ANI and The News Mill.

The event is organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in association with Gujarat Tourism and runs until 15 November.

The festival features tourism pavilions from various states and Union Territories showcasing traditional art, handicrafts, and handloom products.

Visitors can view items such as Sambalpuri sarees from Odisha, Muga silk from Assam, Madhubani paintings from Bihar, and Pashmina shawls from Jammu & Kashmir.

The celebration also includes 25 food stalls offering regional delicacies like Litti Chokha from Bihar, Dal Baati from Rajasthan, and Veg Momo from Sikkim.

Daily live culinary demonstrations are conducted by Studio Kitchens operated by IIHM Shimla and IIHM Gandhinagar, while evening cultural performances feature folk music and dance.

Due to the festival and Diwali vacation, the Statue of Unity will remain open on Monday, 9 November, though the viewing gallery will be closed.
