Trading ideas for NSE, Bank of Maharashtra and other stocks for November 6

The Nifty 50 surged 2.4 per cent on November 5 as benchmark indices extended their rally for a sixth consecutive session.

The Nifty 50 rose 2.4 per cent on November 5, marking the sixth consecutive session of gains for the benchmark indices, according to Moneycontrol. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), approximately 2,373 stocks advanced while 956 stocks declined.

The market may see consolidation and profit booking after the sharp rally, though the broader trend remains in favour of the bulls. Several stocks have shown technical breakouts that could serve as short-term trading ideas.

Bank of Maharashtra has broken out of a descending trendline with strong bullish momentum and rising volumes. The stock has also seen a change in polarity, where the previous resistance zone is now acting as support.

NSE has broken out from an IPO base pattern with a strong bullish candle and increased buying interest. The broader capital market sector has also seen renewed interest, with the sector index breaking above its recent swing high.

Sansera Engineering is trading within a rising channel and has rebounded from support near the 50-DEMA. Meanwhile, Info Edge has retested its breakout zone near Rs 1,140, which aligns with the 200-week EMA.

JSW Energy has formed a bull flag pattern and a double bottom with positive divergence. Petronet LNG has also delivered a breakout above a volatility contraction pattern and a long-term resistance trendline active since August 2024.
