PM Package, migrant and Jammu-based employees working in the Kashmir Division can take leave on November 7 and November 9 to celebrate the festival.
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has sanctioned two days of Special Casual Leave for PM Package, migrant and Jammu-based employees working in the Kashmir Division to celebrate Diwali at Jammu, according to the Daily Excelsior.
The General Administration Department issued a Government Order stating that the leave is granted for November 7, 2026 (Saturday) and November 9, 2026 (Monday).
The employees receiving this leave are posted in different departments across the Kashmir Division.
The order was issued by order of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
