Wipro appoints Angan Guha as President and CEO for Americas 2 unit
Guha will lead the strategic market unit responsible for clients in the US and Canada effective December 8, 2026.
Bengaluru-based Wipro Limited on Friday announced the appointment of Angan Guha as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Americas 2 Strategic Market Unit (SMU). According to the Deccan Herald, the appointment will be effective from December 8, 2026.
Guha will succeed Suzanne Dann, who was appointed head of the unit in October 2022. The unit is a geographic-business division responsible for clients in the US and Canada. Guha will report to Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Srini Pallia and will serve on the Wipro Executive Leadership Team.
In his new role, Guha will focus on strengthening business and market momentum across the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), energy & utilities, and manufacturing sectors. He aims to accelerate growth and deepen client relationships in the region.
Guha brings more than three decades of experience in driving digital transformation and client success. He most recently served as Global CEO and Managing Director of Birlasoft Ltd. Prior to that, he spent over 28 years at Wipro in various senior leadership roles.
Srini Pallia said he is delighted to welcome Guha to the leadership team, noting that his experience in driving business growth and focus on innovation will be valuable. Guha stated he looks forward to helping clients navigate the evolving AI landscape and building on Wipro's consulting and technology capabilities.
