The actor revealed that adoption has been a childhood dream and was not a last resort for her and Jake Bongiovi.
Actor Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi have adopted two children, according to a report by the Times of India. Brown, who married Bongiovi in 2024, welcomed a baby girl through adoption in August 2025 and a baby boy in September 2026.
Speaking on Kylie Kelce's podcast Not Gonna Lie in June 2026, Brown said that adopting babies has been a dream since she was a young girl. She noted that her interest in adoption was not a result of being unable to have biological children or a last resort.
Brown mentioned that her interest in the subject was influenced by her two years of studying social work before she switched to veterinary studies. This education provided her with perspectives from social workers and birth mothers.
The actor described the phone call that changed their lives as one of the most beautiful moments she has experienced. She also noted that the waiting period during the process was among the most challenging parts.
Brown shared a picture with her two children on social media but has chosen to keep the identities of the children private.
