Dr K Anand Kumar receives FABA Lifetime Achievement Award
The Managing Director of Indian Immunologicals Limited was recognised for his contributions to biotechnology and vaccine research.
Dr K Anand Kumar, the Managing Director of Hyderabad-based Indian Immunologicals Limited (IIL), has been conferred with the FABA Lifetime Achievement Award, according to Telangana Today.
The Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) presented the award in recognition of his work in biotechnology, vaccine research, development, and manufacturing.
The award also recognises his role in advancing India’s human and animal healthcare sectors and strengthening the country's vaccine ecosystem.
The recognition acknowledges his efforts toward making quality vaccines both accessible and affordable.
Commenting on the award, Dr Anand Kumar said he is deeply honoured and considers the recognition a tribute to the collective efforts of researchers, the scientific community, healthcare professionals, and the team at IIL.
