HPRC Tigers and HPRC Artists will contest the final of the HPRC Arena Polo Tournament 2026 on Sunday, according to reports from Telangana Today and Deccan Chronicle. Both teams completed unbeaten pool campaigns on Saturday evening to secure their spots in the championship match.
The tournament, presented by Inhabit – The Inside Story, saw all four remaining pool matches played on Saturday after rain washed out Friday's matches. Each match was shortened to two chukkers of five minutes each, with play running from 6 pm until after 8 pm under lights.
In Pool A, the Tigers secured their place in the final with a 4-2 victory over the Chargers. Chaitania Kumar scored twice in each chukker to lead the Tigers to two 2-1 period wins. Siddharth Mukerjee scored both goals for the Chargers.
In Pool B, the Artists defeated the Titans 9-6 to claim the pool outright. While Arun Jupally scored six goals in the match for the Titans, the Artists saw contributions from Shehzad Khan, Arsalan Khan, and Vedanth Lohia.
A separate Pool B match between the Devils and the Titans ended in a 5-5 draw. Shahbaz and Arun Jupally scored four goals each in the encounter, which resulted in the teams sharing points under the tournament's extra-time rules.
The final will be played over four chukkers at the HPRC Arena. The Tigers team includes Chaitania Kumar, Vishal Singh, and Arjun Reddy, while the Artists team features Arsalan Khan, Vedanth Lohia, and Shehzad Khan.
