Diljit Dosanjh says crowd management concerns prevented Bihar concert
The singer explained that organisers asked him to take responsibility for audience safety during an Instagram Live session.
Musician-actor Diljit Dosanjh revealed that a planned concert in Bihar could not proceed due to concerns regarding crowd management, according to reports by Outlook and The Indian Express.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session following his October 30 concert in Delhi, Dosanjh said he and his team had attempted to organise a show in Bihar previously.
The singer stated that organisers raised concerns about handling the expected audience and asked if he would take responsibility for it. Dosanjh said he told them he could not take that responsibility and that they would have to do so.
He explained that managing such a massive crowd involves complex logistics similar to organising an event in Delhi. He noted that the concert could not go ahead because the organisers did not take that responsibility.
The Delhi concert, which kicked off the AURA India Tour 2026, had previously faced uncertainty when Delhi Police initially denied permission over security concerns. The show was later cleared after organisers agreed to additional security and crowd-management measures.
Following the Delhi performance, Dosanjh is scheduled to perform in Indore on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 21, Mumbai on November 27, Bengaluru on November 29, Lucknow on December 5, Chandigarh on December 12, and Kolkata on December 19.
