Telangana aims to become a top electronics manufacturing hub

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu said the state is focusing on technology and innovation to grow its electronics sector.

Telangana intends to become a primary destination for electronics manufacturing in India by improving its industrial ecosystem, according to Telangana Today.

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu made these remarks on Saturday during the inauguration of a new Mivi manufacturing facility at E-City, Tukkuguda.

The facility was set up by Aavishkaran Industries Private Limited with an investment of Rs 200 crore and is expected to bolster the state's electronics sector.

The Minister noted that the manufacturing sector saw 7.7 per cent growth during 2025–26, with the manufacturing sub-sector contributing Rs 1.37 lakh crore to the Gross State Value Added.

Under the Telangana Rising–2047 vision, the government is working to develop hardware parks and electronics manufacturing clusters.

The state also plans to increase its involvement in semiconductor manufacturing, chip design, and electronic component production while integrating local industries with global supply chains.
