Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh mourns nephew killed in Jalandhar accident
Vidit Auluck and his friend Aarav Talwar died after their car hit a stationary tractor-trolley in Punjab.
Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh expressed grief on social media following the death of his nephew, Vidit Auluck, in a road accident in Jalandhar, Punjab. According to reports from The Times of India, the accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, November 1.
The crash took place on a flyover near the Police Lines area. A Volkswagen car, travelling from BMC Chowk toward BSF Chowk, struck a Municipal Corporation tractor-trolley that was parked on the road. Sanitation workers had left the vehicle there to collect garbage while cleaning the flyover.
Vidit Auluck, the son of Speed Records founder Dinesh Auluck, died alongside his friend Aarav Talwar. Talwar was the son of a sweets shop owner. The two were reportedly returning from a birthday party when the collision happened.
Baradari police station SHO Sahil Chaudhary stated that police were alerted to the incident around 3 am. While five people were in the vehicle, the other three occupants had already returned home before the crash.
Honey Singh confirmed the tragedy in an Instagram story, writing, "Its dark decade for me Loss of my nephew Is Devastating Bhole nath mehr Mehr Mehr @dineshauluck."
The police released the bodies to the families after the relatives decided not to file legal charges.
