Diljit Dosanjh says Bihar concert was cancelled over crowd management issues
The singer explained that authorities asked him to take responsibility for managing large crowds in Bihar.
Singer Diljit Dosanjh revealed that a planned concert in Bihar was cancelled because he could not take responsibility for crowd management, according to The Indian Express.
During an Instagram Live session following his October 30 concert in Delhi, Dosanjh said that attempts were made to go to Bihar last time as well.
He stated that authorities said it was difficult to manage the crowd and asked if he would take responsibility for it.
Dosanjh said he told them he could not do so and that they would have to take that responsibility, so they could not go.
The singer noted that managing the massive crowds involves logistics similar to organising an event in Delhi.
The Delhi concert, which was part of his AURA Tour, had previously faced uncertainty after Delhi Police initially denied permission due to security concerns.
Dosanjh alleged that a lot of people tried to stop the Delhi show, but he managed to pull it off.
The India leg of the tour includes upcoming performances in Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Kolkata.
