Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani turned 63 on November 1, according to the Hindustan Times. She maintains her health through a disciplined lifestyle involving a robust fitness regimen and a balanced vegetarian diet.
The chairperson works out five to six days a week, focusing on different body parts such as the legs, upper body, and back. She incorporates swimming, aqua exercises, and an hour of dancing into her routine, while walking between 5,000 and 7,000 steps.
Nita Ambani said that leg days are her favourite and noted that she has practised Bharatanatyam since she was six years old. She described her approach to fitness as holistic, including exercises for strength, mobility, and flexibility.
Regarding her nutrition, Ambani stated that she follows a balanced vegetarian diet consisting of organic and nature-based food. She said she prioritises protein and absolutely avoids sugar or sugar substitutes.
On March 8, 2025, Ambani encouraged women to prioritise their health. She noted that after the age of 30, women lose about 3-8 per cent muscle mass per decade, which can lead to a loss in bone density, balance, and metabolism.
