Janhvi Kapoor recreates mother Sridevi's Nagina look for Halloween

The actress paid tribute to her late mother by recreating the iconic 1986 character look alongside social media personality Orry.

Janhvi Kapoor recreated the iconic character look of her late mother, Sridevi, from the 1986 film Nagina for Halloween, according to reports by ANI, Free Press Journal and Hindustan Times.

The actress wore a pink and ivory ensemble by designer Nidhi Halani, paired with matching jewellery, a maang-tika and a bindi to match Sridevi's appearance in the fantasy thriller.

Kapoor enlisted social media personality Orry to recreate the original film poster, with Orry stepping into the role originally played by Rishi Kapoor. Photographer Vaishnav Praveen also participated by portraying Amrish Puri's character, Bhairavnath.

In a social media post, Kapoor described the recreation as a tribute to three screen legends: Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor and Amrish Puri. She called it one of the most iconic movie moments ever.

Her sister, Khushi Kapoor, also celebrated Halloween by dressing as Wonder Woman in a red, blue and gold costume. Khushi posed inside a life-sized doll box for her photoshoot.

Khushi commented on Janhvi's tribute, writing, "You have won Halloween." Other industry figures, including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor, also reacted to the post.
