Traffic restrictions will be in place in Central Delhi from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. near Ramlila Maidan.

The Delhi Traffic Police has released an advisory regarding traffic diversions and restrictions in Central Delhi on Sunday. These measures are in response to a proposed INDIA bloc rally at Ramlila Maidan, where a large gathering is expected.

According to The Hindu, the restrictions will be active from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic movement is likely to be affected on several roads, including BSZ Marg, JLN Marg, Aruna Asaf Ali Road, Minto Road, and DGB Road.

Diversion points include Netaji Subhash Marg T-Point, Rajghat, Delhi Gate, ITO A-Point, Ajmeri Gate Red Light, and Ranjeet Singh Flyover. Other affected areas include Bhavbhuti Marg-DDU Marg Red Light, Jhandewalan Roundabout, Turkman Gate, and Mirdard Chowk.

Delhi Transport Corporation bus movement will be regulated on BSZ Marg, Minto Road, DGB Road, and the stretch from Rajghat to JLN Marg, depending on traffic conditions. Commuters heading to New Delhi Railway Station are advised to use alternative routes via Chelmsford Road or DDU Marg.

The advisory asks people to avoid unnecessary travel towards Astha Kunj Park and Nehru Place. Motorists are encouraged to use public transport, specifically the Metro, and to avoid unauthorised parking near the venue.
