Diljit Dosanjh says crowd management concerns prevented Bihar concert
The musician revealed during an Instagram Live session that he could not take responsibility for managing large crowds in Bihar.
Musician-actor Diljit Dosanjh stated that a planned concert in Bihar could not proceed because he was asked to take responsibility for crowd management, according to reports by Hindustan Times and Outlook.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session after his Delhi concert on October 30, the singer said he and his team had attempted to organise a show in Bihar last year. He said that organisers told him it would be difficult to manage the crowd and asked if he would take responsibility for it.
Dosanjh said he told them he could not take that responsibility and that they would have to do it. He explained that managing the massive crowds expected at his shows involves complex logistics similar to organising an event in Delhi.
The singer has kicked off his AURA India Tour 2026 in Delhi. Following the Delhi performance, he is scheduled to perform in Chandigarh, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Indore.
Regarding his Delhi concert, Dosanjh said it was tough and alleged that a lot of people tried to stop it. The Delhi Police had initially denied permission for the event, citing security-related inputs and festive-season law-and-order commitments.
