Ajith Kumar's film Daredevil begins with pooja ceremony

Actor Ajith Kumar's upcoming film Daredevil has commenced production with a traditional pooja ceremony, according to The Times of India. The launch event was attended by producer Shalini Ajith Kumar, director Adhik Ravichandran, and various members of the cast and crew.
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander was present at the ceremony. Other actors in attendance included Sreeleela, Unni Mukundan, Sunil, Prabhu, Redin Kingsley, and Parthiban.
The film is being produced by Shalini Ajith Kumar under her banner, Brave Hearts Productions, which marks her debut as a producer. Parthiban confirmed his role in the film through a social media post, stating he was happy to share the screen with Ajith Kumar and work with Adhik Ravichandran.
The project reunites Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran following their collaboration in Good Bad Ugly. Ajith Kumar's previous film, Good Bad Ugly, was released in April 2025 and reportedly collected approximately Rs 250 crore.
While the full cast has not been released, the film is expected to feature Sreeleela, Unni Mukundan, Sunil, Prabhu, Redin Kingsley, and Parthiban in important roles. Much of the filming is expected to take place in Hyderabad and at international locations.
