Makers reveal Ravie Dubey as Lakshman in Ramayana poster

The character poster shows the actor in a warrior stance ahead of the film's release.

The makers of the film Ramayana have released a new character poster featuring actor Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, according to The News Mill and Moneycontrol. The visual depicts Dubey in a warrior stance holding a bow and arrow.

The creators described the character on social media as a devoted brother, a fearless warrior, and the shield of Rama. The poster's composition is similar to the previously released image of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama.

Dubey said that playing the role is an emotion that is difficult to put into words. He described the character as a combination of strength, courage, devotion, and selflessness, adding that bringing the character to life is an honour and a responsibility.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The production is a collaboration between Prime Focus Studios, DNEG, and Monster Mind Creations.

The cinematic epic is planned in two parts. The first instalment will arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 5, 2026, and the second part is set for Diwali 2027.

The movie will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, including IMAX formats. Sony Pictures will handle global distribution outside India, while Dharma Productions will manage distribution in Hindi-speaking regions.
