Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan to appear on Koffee With Karan 9
The star couple will feature on an upcoming episode of the talk show's final season.
Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are set to appear on an upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9, according to reports from The News Mill and Times Now. This marks the first time the couple has appeared together on the show in 16 years, having last sat on the couch together in 2010 during the third season.
In a promo released on Monday, host Karan Johar announced that this would be the final season of the talk show. Kareena Kapoor Khan responded by saying she was "quite happy and relieved" because they would no longer have to appear on the show. Johar replied sarcastically, "Thank you for showing your sensitivity to my last season."
During the episode, Saif Ali Khan remarked, "I think I’m slightly miscast for this show." The promo also featured a buzzer game where Saif Ali Khan responded with the name "Kavita" when asked to name actors starting with the letter 'K', leading to a confused reaction from Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also named herself as Bollywood's number one female star during the conversation. The ninth season of the show premiered on October 14 and is expected to feature several other celebrity guests. The episode will be available to stream on Wednesday on The Peacock Hub via JioHotstar.
