India's electric vehicle (EV) market recorded its highest-ever monthly registrations in October, with total units crossing 3.5 lakh for the first time, according to the Times of India.

Electric two-wheelers contributed significantly to the growth, reaching a record high of 2,24,000 units in October. This figure is up from 1,51,000 units in October 2025 and 2,09,000 units in September.
