Madhya Pradesh identity rooted in heritage and development, says CM Yadav

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav called for public participation to build a prosperous and self-reliant state on its 71st Foundation Day.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday extended greetings to residents to mark the state's 71st Foundation Day, observed on November 1. According to the Hindustan Times, Yadav said the state's identity is being shaped by both its heritage and its development.

Reflecting on the past 71 years, the chief minister noted the transition of the state from a BIMARU state to a developing one. He said this journey included both difficult and positive experiences.

Yadav highlighted that industrial growth, investment promotion, an increased agricultural growth rate, and better tourism facilities have contributed to the state's economic momentum. He stated these sectors have provided fresh energy to the economy.

The chief minister described Madhya Pradesh as a state representing India's history, culture, and spiritual consciousness. He said the state's character is defined by its cultural legacy and its aspirations for development.

Yadav urged residents to work alongside the government to create a prosperous and self-reliant state. He said a new Madhya Pradesh could be built through hard work and collective resolve.

The chief minister said the goal is to make the state an example for the country and the world by connecting its heritage with progress.
