Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Mahapatra, a distinguished neurosurgeon and Padma Shri awardee, passed away on Monday evening at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi. He was 73 years old, according to Pragativadi.
