PVV Infra takes possession of two wayside amenity sites in Madhya Pradesh
The company will develop the 7.09-hectare sites on a Design, Build, Operate and Transfer basis following the handover from NHLML.
Mumbai-based PVV Infra has taken physical possession of two wayside amenities sites in Madhya Pradesh from National Highways Logistics Management (NHLML), according to BusinessLine.
The handover follows the official appointment of October 27 as the start date. The process began with Letters of Award in July and the execution of lease agreements in September.
The two sites cover a total area of 7.09 hectares. Planned facilities include fuel stations, electric vehicle charging points, dining areas, toilets, drinking water, and parking for both commercial and passenger vehicles.
PVV Infra Wholetime Director Gadde Ramakrishna said the immediate focus is on contractor mobilisation, statutory clearances, and detailed engineering. He noted that the Dabra site will cater to heavy commercial vehicles and passenger needs on NH-44.
The Dhanodiya site is being developed ahead of the Simhastha Purna Kumbh Mela 2028 in Ujjain. The projects are part of an NHLML national programme for over 700 sites, which aims for completion by FY29.
Revenue from these projects will be generated once the facilities are commissioned as per the lease agreements.
