Orry claims Sara Ali Khan was a fake friend during fallout

Social media personality Orhan Awatramani said the actor did not check on him during a difficult phase.

Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, has claimed that his friendship with actor Sara Ali Khan ended because she was not there for him during a tough time. Speaking on the show Double Date with Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Orry said he unfollowed the actor and her mother, Amrita Singh, on social media.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Orry described the actor as a childhood friend they remained close to for 10 years after college. He claimed he stood by her when she was involved in a big case in Goa, despite others advising him to distance himself. He said he also supported her mother and brother during that period.

Orry alleged that when he went through a difficult phase, the actor did not call or check on him once. He also claimed that Amrita Singh hurled abuses at him and scolded him, adding that he never received an apology for what happened.

The fallout reportedly began in August 2025 after Orry shared photos of the actor that some users found unflattering. This was followed by a social media reel where Orry mentioned the names Sara, Amrita, and Palak without surnames. No response has been received from Sara Ali Khan or Amrita Singh regarding these claims.
