Actor Noah Wyle discusses different parenting experiences with son and daughters

The actor shared how raising a boy and two girls required different approaches and supervision at various stages.

Actor Noah Wyle has shared how his experience raising a son and two daughters has shaped his parenting style, according to a Times of India report. Speaking to People magazine, the 'The Pitt' star noted that boys and girls present different challenges at different ages.

Wyle observed that raising a boy in the early years requires more constant supervision because young boys tend to explore their surroundings more actively. He remarked that while boys may become easier to manage as they age, his daughters seemed more carefree as children before their needs changed during their teenage years.

The actor described the difficulty of providing contradictory messages to children, such as encouraging them to be bold and have fun while also remaining safe and responsible. He noted that balancing these instructions is a hard task for parents.

Wyle also mentioned that he sought guidance from a child behaviourist following his divorce to learn how to discuss difficult subjects. He said he follows the advice to be honest with his children while ensuring the information is appropriate for their specific age and level of understanding.
