Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather welcomed as JKLA Secretariat opens in Jammu
The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat began its winter operations in the winter capital on Monday.
Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather was greeted by senior officials and staff on Monday. According to the Daily Excelsior and Greater Kashmir, the welcome occurred as the Darbar Move offices opened in the winter capital, Jammu.
During the commencement of the winter session, Rather met with officers and employees of the Assembly Secretariat. He praised the staff for their commitment to ensuring the secretariat operates effectively.
The Speaker highlighted the necessity of upholding high levels of discipline, professionalism, and efficiency while performing official duties. He also requested that all branches of the Secretariat work closely together to handle official business and services without delay.
Rather stated that the institution must remain transparent, responsive, and focused on the public to assist with legislative affairs. He expressed his belief that the Secretariat would preserve the traditions and dignity of the Legislature.
The Speaker concluded by wishing the staff a successful tenure during the winter Darbar Move.
