Tripura CM condemns assault on BSF personnel in Ashabari
Chief Minister Manik Saha has ordered authorities to take strict action after a group of miscreants attacked security forces on Monday morning.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Monday condemned an attack on Border Security Force (BSF) personnel by a group of miscreants in the Ashabari area of Boxanagar. According to ANI, the incident occurred on Monday morning and caused tension in the locality.
The assault involved three BSF jawans who were targeted by a group of alleged smugglers. The attackers reportedly tried to take weapons from the injured officers and caused damage to a government vehicle.
In a post on X, Manik Saha described the violence against security forces as unacceptable. He stated that any attack on security personnel is a matter of grave concern and must be handled firmly according to the law.
The Chief Minister has directed the concerned authorities to take swift and stringent action to ensure those responsible are brought to justice. He added that security personnel deserve the utmost respect and protection.
