Asia Healthcare Holdings commits ₹100 crore to AINU Odisha expansion
The investment will support the opening of a new hospital in Bhubaneswar, marking the chain's entry into the state.
Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH) has pledged ₹100 crore to expand the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), including a new hospital in Bhubaneswar, according to BusinessLine. This latest funding brings the total amount AHH has invested in the specialty hospital chain to ₹750 crore.
The Bhubaneswar facility serves as the eighth hospital for AINU in India and represents its first presence in Odisha. The expansion is part of a broader strategy to increase the group's footprint in eastern India.
The hospital provides specialised services such as nephrology, urology, kidney transplantation, dialysis, and uro-oncology. Its infrastructure features a 12-station haemodialysis unit, three operation theatres, 3D laparoscopy, and an in-house 32-slice CT scanner.
AHH Executive Director Vishal Bali stated that since the acquisition, the group has added 300 beds, improved robotic technology, and bolstered clinical talent. Bali said the expansion into Odisha is intended to strengthen the group's presence in the eastern region.
The company aims to reach a total of 10 hospitals by the end of FY27. This growth will be supported by further investments in clinical talent, capacity expansion, and robotic surgery capabilities.
