Head coach Craig Fulton said the team is playing a good brand of hockey and noted that their penalty corners are firing. He added that he has been encouraged by the performances of younger players, specifically mentioning Vishukant Singh and Angad Bir Singh.
Fulton also noted the need to keep players fresh due to a heavy schedule involving the World Cup, Asian Games, and this tournament. He said he would continue assessing the squad following injuries and the integration of younger players.
