J&K Bank holds customer care town hall in Anantnag
The meeting included around 150 customers and officials to discuss banking services, grievance redressal, and digital safety.
Jammu and Kashmir Bank organised its second Customer Care Town Hall meeting in Anantnag on November 5, according to the Daily Excelsior.
The event brought together approximately 150 customers, branch managers, and senior officials to talk about service delivery, handling complaints, and digital banking security.
General Manager (Customer Care) Narjay Gupta chaired the session, alongside General Manager and Divisional Head (Kashmir) Arshad Qadri and Chief Risk Officer Altaf Hussain Kira.
During the interaction, customers raised concerns regarding banking services and the safe use of digital channels, while officials discussed risks involving mule accounts.
Gupta said that interacting directly with customers and managers helps the bank find process shortcomings and improve branch-level services to make banking safer and more responsive.
A resource person from the Anantnag Cyber Police also gave a presentation on identifying and preventing cyber fraud. The bank stated the town hall series will be extended to all Zonal Offices across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and other parts of the country.
