Nykaa shares hit new high as quarterly profit triples
FSN E-Commerce Ventures reported a 28 per cent revenue rise to Rs 3,006 crore in the September quarter.
Shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa) reached a new 52-week high of Rs 363.40 on Thursday, according to Mint. The company reported that its net profit tripled to Rs 101 crore during the September quarter (Q2FY27).
Revenue for the quarter rose 28 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,006 crore. Gross merchandise value (GMV) grew 30 per cent to Rs 6,151 crore, supported by a 25 per cent increase in beauty and personal care (BPC) GMV to Rs 4,454 crore.
The Ebitda margin expanded to a multi-quarter high of 8.7 per cent from 6.8 per cent in Q2FY26. This was driven by higher traction in BPC and fashion, with fashion GMV increasing 42 per cent to Rs 1,674 crore.
Management aims for a high-single-digit Ebitda margin in fashion by FY30. However, the company faces risks from intensifying competition and potential margin pressure from its B2B distribution arm, Superstore, which reported 28 per cent net sales value growth in Q2FY27.
Jefferies India noted that while valuations remain punchy, they are underpinned by strong growth expectations. Nykaa stock has rallied 31 per cent so far this calendar year.
